Offerings
Doula support is unique in its holistic and expansive approach, and I am happy to join your journey whenever it feels right to you. Below are brief descriptions of what pregnancy, birth, and postpartum support can look like, but I encourage you to reach out for a free consultation so that we can discuss the specifics of your family, home, and goals in pursuing doula support.
Pregnancy and Birth Support
I currently work in a team based model with Stork and Sprout doula services. I find that a team based model allows clients to access a wealth of knowledge and experience, and allows doulas to achieve a much better work/life balance than we are able to as solo practitioners. If you are interested in working with me for pregnancy and birth support, please schedule a call with Stork and Sprout here. We do bill Kaiser!
I will take private, one on one clients who are planning a homebirth! If this is you, please reach out to me to schedule a call and discuss more.
In-Home Postpartum Care
In-home postpartum care is one of the most valuable gifts you can give your new family. As a postpartum doula, I take care of new parents so you can welcome your child with the love, tenderness, and care that they need. In a typical postpartum shift, I provide assistance to support breast/chestfeeding, nourish new parents with healthy food, drinks, and snacks, encourage parents to catch up on much needed rest, and more.
As your postpartum doula, my role is to create an environment where the bond between parents and their newborn is prioritized and respected, where parents are informed and educated about their newborns' needs, and where your community can come together with the goal of welcoming a new child and newly made parents into the world.
I aim to provide compassionate, non-judgmental, and evidence-based care and information for the entire family, as well as practical everyday support such as cooking, laundry, and more to lighten the load and allow for a joyful and restful postpartum period.
Pre-Conception/Queer/Solo Family Building
My own experiences with queer family planning is what led me to becoming a doula! I have so much love and passion for this phase of family building, and love to support other queer/solo parents as they navigate the process of getting pregnant or bringing a child into their life in any number of beautiful ways.
